I was born in Barrow, Cumbria, attending school and growing up there until attending the University of Manchester to study politics and international relations, graduating in 2012.

I moved to Rochdale in 2015 and have been active in the community and on the local council.  I have come to love it here, building my life and starting a family locally.

I am passionate about the area and the importance of local people having as much opportunity to live happily, work, and start a family as anywhere else.

That’s why I will stand up for Heywood and Middleton North, including the communities of Castleton, Bamford, Spotland, Falinge, and Norden, in every way I can.

On the 30th September 2024, myself and my husband, John, celebrated the birth of our first child.
